Cooling down
Hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions are getting busy as this is Thailand's high season for tourism but there are plenty of hotel rooms available.
Diving in November: The sea temperature is 28c which means that using a a 3mm shortie is an option, but not an essential for those people from temperate, or cold climates.Our three main wrecks - the Hardeep, the Khram and the recently-sunk HTMS Luang Khud- are diving well, but you need to be certified to go down to 30m if you wish to dive them. If you are still an Open Water diver you could go and visit these wrecks by signing up for the Advanced Open Water course. Or, if you fancy living in Thailand you could go all the way to instructor. We have a special package for sports divers who want to turn pro and live and work in exotic parts of the world.
The Royal Thai Navy honoured their promise to sink a second ship as an artificial reef and tourist attraction last September. The new wreck, the Luang Khud ,is a sister ship of HTMS Khram, Pattaya's first ever artificial reef which has already been taken over and redecorated by marine life.
The Luang Khud was formerly the US Exno and saw action in the Korean war. Later she joined the Thai Navy's fleet, but after 51 year's service was decommissioned and sunk off Koh Sak, one of Pattaya's near islands in September last year.
Her "sister" ship, the Khram was sunk near Koh Phai, nearly 20kms off Pattaya, in January 2002.Both ships are sitting in the sailing position at 27m. Wreck purists will be delighted to learn that neither wreck has been over "sanitised." Apart from the engine being removed the ships are virtually in her original condition.
We have been diving both wrecks regularly and rate them both as a wrecks suitable for newly certified Advanced Open Water divers (under supervision) and experts. The topside is in easy reach of less experienced divers, while those capable of penetration can find some nice dark bits inside to test their skills.

Swim with dolphins
Set aside one day of your holiday for the experience of a life-time. We'll pick you up at your hotel in an air-conditioned mini bus for the journey through rural Thailand towards the town of Chantaburi, and Oasis Sea World. First you will see the show and then go to a huge pool to swim with the dolphins. There are two sorts of dolphins - the Pacific Humpback " pink" dolphins and the more unusual, cheeky little Irrawaddy dolphins. They'll all tow you through the water at high speed or do many of the tricks that you will have seen in the show. You reward them by popping a fish in their mouth. This is the sort of day out that will give you memories for a lifetime, but if you want to show your friends back home what you did then we can shoot a video of you. We have scheduled trips every Monday and Thursday as well as trips most days of the week to the dolphin park at Chantaburi, about 2 1/2 hrs south of Pattaya. Customer
pick up time depends on the location of their hotel in Pattaya but is
between 7-8am. On some days we visit a beautiful temple called Wat Khou
Sukhim on the outward journey and on other trips we break the return
journey with a visit to a large aquarium where you can see the local
marine life close up. Some of
the dolphin trainers will be with you to help you get the most fun out
of your 45 minutes with the dolphins. Because there are limits on the number of people allowed to swim with the dolphins at each session it is important that you make a provisional booking with us as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. DECEMBER 8-9: THAILAND HORSE FESTIVAL at Horseshoe Point will include fun fairs and activities and the audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy the Passionata Horse Show from Portugal. This Festival will take place in the same time as the 24th Southeast Asia (SEA) Games. The Horseback Riding for the Games on 7-15 December.
